About Charlottesville Postal Federal Credit Union


Our History
On August 16, 1956 Charlottesville Postal Federal Credit Union was chartered. The Field of Membership consists of employees of the U.S. Postal Service who work in or are assigned to: Charlottesville Sectional Center, Harrisonburg Processing Center, and Culpeper Processing Center and their associate offices, employees of this credit union and immediate family of the above.

All persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment. We have added to the Field of Membership the Members of the Charlottesville-Albemarle American Legion Post 74, Inc., its Auxiliary, and Sons of Squadron 74. Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants of the United States Postal Service who reside within the credit union's service area and members of their immediate families and organizations of such persons.
